Lecompton Reenactors - Reviews
There were both serious and humorous parts if the play that made for an entertaining as well as educational experience. While you have referred to the play as a fictional account, as a professional historian I can say that there is much evidence of serious research on this important subject.

Your reenactors and play were an outstanding part of our event. The players with their period uniforms and dress made it an even more educational benefit for all. Our thanks to each of the players for their professional delivery, attention to detail and dedication to character portrayal.

You all did a super job which was enjoyed by all.
-Pete Duncan, President of the Doniphan County Historical Society
The actors did a superb job of portraying actual individuals who were key leaders in the United States and Kansas during the 1856-1858 time period. The characters dressed and played their parts with great enthusiasm and gusto giving the audience the opportunity to become involved. I greatly appreciated the work done on this production and would encourage anyone with any interest in history to see it. It could change the way you view Kansas' role in the civil War.
