In preparation for a private event, we have moved and unfolded our beautiful quilts and are displaying them in the chapel at the Territorial Capital Museum. Some of these quilts are from the territorial period in Kansas as well as early statehood. Each quilt is tagged with the date and the quilters information . We will move them back into storage sometime during the last week in August so call before you come to make sure they are still being displayed. The public is welcome to come and view these quilts while they are out of storage.
